Dr. Peter Wong is the CTO of Prenetics, leading their global technology vision, roadmap, and engineering delivery since 2017. Previously, as Head of Engineering at Travelex, he spearheaded their digital transformation, launching Travelex Wire and an international payment platform with the World Bank Group. With experience in investment banking, eCommerce, and regulated environments, Dr. Wong achieved certifications like ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 for GDPR compliance and obtained the UK's FCA license and PCI DSS compliance for Travelex's cloud-based money transfer system. A frequent speaker at technology conferences and universities, he holds a Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Oxford, along with B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Warwick.
