Sankar is a techno intrapreneur with a focus on enabling the mega projects that we implement to be digital proof & sustainable creating value for ARUP, our client & community we create.
Sankar graduated from Bangalore University with the bachelor's degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering. Pursuing his strong interests in computers and information technology, he switched from electrical engineering to software programming in his early career.
Sankar is a techno intrapreneur and business manager dedicated to build the eco system and partnership models across geological boundaries and integrate technologies into a wider business case to cater client’s specific needs. He has acquired extensive Information & Operational technology experience through his involvements in various projects. He is especially skilful in the implementation planning and system development of intelligent devices ranging from satellite & aerial data, industrial equipment, track and trace technologies, biometrics and sensors to provide cutting-edge wellrounded solutions leveraging knowledge across disciplines.
He has also previously led several award-winning IOT projects including the Intrusion Detection System for Lamma Island Substation, Construction Worker Tunnel Safety for Hong Kong – Guangzhou Express Rail, automated passenger and vehicle clearance system for Law enforcement agencies, Smart Shopping Malls, etc.
He is a Certified Information Security Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer. He has been awarded Value driven CXO award by Intel, INSEAD & HPE in 2019
